A Day Baking Class @ Meet Me Bake Academy

I always think that baking is not my kind of activity hence I was a bit hesitant to join the one day baking class.

After serious consideration, I decided to give it a try and here is my first baking experience at Meet Me Bake Academy.

This is what I am going to bake for the day-

Musang King Durian Mille Crepe Cake

Stepping into the academy, the interior design is simple yet instagrammable.

A quick introduction on the Meet Me Bake Academy. Founded in 2017, it provides

♥️ Diploma in Baking and Patisserie from Taiwan

Second floor, the floral wallpaper is gentle and soothing for event and classes.

Preparing for the classes, the classroom is catered for small group teaching (up to 6 groups per session). Equipped with all the necessary equipment and professional teacher, learning is indeed an enjoyable experience.

The friendly teachers explain the steps in a simple manner that even with zero experience, I can understand the steps and skills without much effort.

The step by step guidance

The whole process of baking Durian Mille Crepe requires patience as it is 18 to 22 layers of hard work.

After the demo, it is my turn to try it, with the guidance of course.

I find the flipping over part very hard as it is very hot!! It takes multiple attempts to do it.

Anyway, the process continues until we finishes the 18 layers of frying and cooling down.

After that, we proceed with spreading the cream with durian layer by layer again.

*Indeed a lot of hard work isn’t it?*

After a few hours of hard work, we finally come to the last stage of completion – the design.

Ta-da! This is my partner of the day. Our teamwork makes the process easier and more enjoyable!

With our own Musang King Durian Mille Crepe Cake! After about 5-6 hours, we successfully completed the cake and this is not possible without the guidance of the teachers and teamwork with my partner! The whole experience is truly great and I am even considering joining more of their classes!
