7Dish Cafe

Located at the front row of Sutera Mall, 7Dish is a new brunch cafe that serves high quality brunch and specialty coffee.

I visited this cafe many times because of the specialty coffee and I have to say they serve decent coffee. There signatures are actually the brunch menu such as 7 big breakfast, salmon mash and avocado toast but being a dessert lover, I tried out their desserts instead.

Pancake, waffles and hotcake.

Tropique Cafe & Restaurant

Located at Spring Lab@EcoSpring, the whole area is pretty much instagrammable.
If you haven’t know, this cafe is brought by the team behind another few famous cafes in JB, namely The Faculty of Caffeine, The Replacement and Shakespeare Milkshakes. With the sunlight shining through the glasshouse, the cafe brings you a positive vibe during the day time. The wooden chairs and the other parts of the inner design bring out the nostalgic feeling in you.

I tried the Madam Lim’s Brownie as this is one of the signature here. It is made in rich dark chocolate brownie topped with vanilla ice cream.

You do not need me to introduce more, do you? This is the cafe where we have sharing session with Sunshine Kelly and this is the check in hotspot in Johor Bahru nowadays. They are full house almost every weekend since opening. Even the Royal family loves them, who does’t? Featuring Melbourne inspired brunch, almost every dish here is worth trying and instagrammable if you love to take photos of your food. The food is healthy and mostly are vegetarians and they have variety of drinks as well!
