Love and thoughts on Christmas

Hey, everyone! It is Christmas season and Merry Christmas to everyone! πŸ™‚ It is going to be a simple but meaningful post! (at least to myself) πŸ™‚

Woke up at 7.00 am in the morning because I had to dress up to go to the church! The fact is I never really slept well over the night because I never put my phone into silent mode and the whole night the phone just kept making noise! haha. Well, I took so long to think what to wear, to put so many cream on my face even though at the end it looks the same! haha.

After simple makeup and all the stuff, I used 1 hour to take selfie of myself! πŸ˜€ This is the most satisfying photos early in the morning! I looked like I just woke up right? hehe.

Everyone dressed well in church today! πŸ˜€

“God’s love is sacrificial, life changing, unconditional and comforting. “

This is what I learnt on christmas day! haha.

The church session was wonderful and full of Christmas decorations! Happiest thing is I get to see my dear, Bernice and her family! πŸ™‚ Bernice is the one that always invite me to her church! haha. Her mummy was my Form 5 Maths teacher! hahaha.

Funny moment happened when the mum saw me!
She was like : You look so pretty NOW!
And I was like: NOW?! (means last time I wasnt pretty)
And everyone laughed haha!
Actually yes lar, think I am prettier now when compare to high school also! haha. High shool was so nerd, hair must tie up, wear the ugly pinafores. OMG! Cannot imagine it now!

Actually I am not a Christian, more like a free thinker. I go to temple and go to church also! haha. Bernice always invited me to her church and I started to know more about Christian and the meaning behind Christmas. Actually I kind of believe their story and think it is true also! My papa also being so open minded for the first time and never stop me from going church! πŸ™‚

When we look around us, sometiems it is easy to feel overwhelmed by the seeming hopelessness of everything that is happening. However, Christmas gives us every reason to remain hopeful!

-Quoted from brochure that I get from church-

We sang songs, watched a short video clip, some drama performance about love. Enjoy every moment there. πŸ™‚

Bernice was extremely helpful and kind and kept taking care of me. Love her to the max! πŸ™‚

After that, we were provided with lunch and guess what! I suaku and malu betul because…….

I only found out that turkey is a Christmas food. Seriously malu and I will make sure when I describe Christmas to my children next time, I will tell them turkey instead of santa story! -.-

Went to “The Brew Orchestra” in Molek after that! I like to explore new cafe and good food. It is my first time here and omg! The chocolate cake taste awesome! Would love to drink the chocolate drink but too bad it finished already! πŸ™

* Dare not really take any photos of the cafe and the food because I went with a group of church people and they are older and more mature. I am like one of the youngest there so must behave a bit! A bit sad. lol. Want to go again!

Had Christmas dinner with my family at night.

Even though sometimes I would like to be special, I am happy that my Christmas is ordinary since I am able to spend it with all the loved ones πŸ™‚

New year is coming soon and I am hoping on some countdown party! Let’s see what will happen! πŸ™‚

Lastly, Happy New Year to everyone! πŸ™‚

Love,
Sherlyn πŸ™‚
